World Travel Market Africa on track to exceed 2014 results

The much anticipated World Travel Market Africa (WTM Africa) 2015, taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from April 15 to 17, 2015, is set to exceed the expectations of the inaugural event which was held this year May 2 to 3.

The annual WTM Africa is the leading B2B exhibition for Africa’s leisure travel industry. South Africa and the African continent are key tourism growth markets – the time is right to be in Africa. WTM Africa is the only trade show of its kind to cater to inbound and outbound qualified international buyers, key industry stake holders and Travel trade professionals.

Amongst the many exhibitors signed up already for 2015 are significant industry suppliers in the hospitality and airline sectors, such as Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Sun International, Fairmont Hotel Group and Lufthansa.

Results from the WTM Africa 2014 exhibitor survey show that 91.5 per cent of main stand holders were very satisfied and 76.2 per cent of main stand holders agreed strongly that WTM Africa is vitally important for the growth of their business. Exhibitors described the 2014 WTM Africa as well-structured and the best show they’ve attended, with the opportunity to network with quality buyers and have over 5353 appointments in 2 days. WTM Africa aims to outdo the 3091 industry professionals’ present in 2015.

In 2015, WTM Africa exhibitors can look forward to 3 days of quality business discussions with the world’s leading travel industry buyers sourced from emerging and traditional source markets in Africa and beyond.

WTM Africa’s prominent event programme, in partnership with local and international organisations, will provide strong and professional impact sessions focusing on the African region, covering important topics affecting the market, trends and offering industry insights of real value to all visiting travel industry professionals.
