Management of the Sheraton Lagos Hotel commemorated a decade and half of its award-winning Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) loyalty programme recently at its Ikeja, Lagos hospitality establishment which gathered hundreds of members and staff of the hotel alike.

The week-long event which had an opening ceremony/launch was also aimed at engaging guests, as well as strengthening ties with existing SPG guests and registered new friends of the loyalty programme, just as the event provided a veritable platform for Sheraton management to reiterate the benefits of the loyalty programme which has with plenty of SPG activations and excitements binding with entertainment from the local heritage.

The Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) is an innovative, award-winning frequent traveller programme that unites each of Starwood’s nine distinctive hotel brands and includes more luxury hotels in more destinations around the world.

SPG reinvented the hospitality loyalty landscape when it launched in 1999 with its breakthrough policy of no blackout dates, and over the years has continued its tradition of innovation with enhancements such as Cash + Points, SPG Moments, and most recently Your24 and SPG® Lifetime.

According to Public Relations Manager of Sheraton Lagos hotel, the hotel organized an intensive associates training/talk session during the week with recognition party including a lot of activities like the SPG quiz competition, highest SPG enroller, sweet banter and cocktails for the associates.
