According to the film Director, Award winning Bond Emeruwa, Daisy is a family oriented movie filled with suspense. “Daisy is a mirror of what may occur when fidelity becomes an issue in a marriage. It also addresses the themes of trust and justice, borne out of contemporary real life situations” Emeruwa said.

Emeruwa also enthused that “this premiere supported by brands like Promasidor makers of Onga, Kewalram/Mitsubishi Motors and popular blog, Bella Naija, is an example of how movie makers can bring in private companies and individuals into boosting the image of Nollywood while improving on the quality of movies produced in Nigeria”.

The film was shot in both Nigeria and Ghana and showcased the best of Nigerian and Ghanaian actors and actresses like:  Olu Jacobs, Ebele Okaro Onyuike, Jim Lawson Maduike, Peter Bunoh among others.
